Open Source SASE
- Building a Secure Access Service Edge stack from open source components.
- Zero-trust principles with integrated network and security functions.
Second-year Bachelor IT & Cyber Security and Cloud student focused on the defensive, hands-on side of security — network and system security, hardening, and building secure infrastructure. Curious about SOC operations and threat hunting, which I'd like to explore during an internship.
Second-year Bachelor student in IT & Cyber Security and Cloud with a preference for the defensive, hands-on side of security: network and system security, hardening, and building secure infrastructure. I learn best by building and digging into things myself — a hardened Linux server, a self-hosted mail server, the SASE project.
I work in a structured way, solve problems analytically, and pick up new tools and technologies quickly. I'm expanding my knowledge in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code, and I'm fascinated by SOC operations, threat hunting and incident response — areas I'd like to explore in practice. After graduating I plan to pursue the Cisco CCNA and CompTIA Security+ certifications.
Right now I'm looking for a first internship where I can apply what I've learned and grow alongside an experienced team.
I'm actively looking for a Blue Team / defensive security internship starting 2027. If your team is hiring or you'd like to chat about a project, reach out via email, LinkedIn or GitHub.
